Unlike Fort Lauderdale's logo, which includes Broward County, unlike the Port Everglades logo that also includes the saying Broward County,

Visit Lauderdale's logo says nothing about Broward County.

In fact, I felt compelled the other day at an event to explain Visit Lauderdale.

Because folks don't immediately know that they're being sponsored through the county.

As a county agency, I think it's important that county agencies have a designation that they are Broward County.

And I would like to think that we would want Visit Lauderdale to have that

underneath their name.

So they still visit Lauderdale, but just to say, visit Lauderdale, Broward County.

That happens with Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.

Yes, it's the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, but their logo specifically says there, Broward County.

I think it's important that when we're out and about, there should be no second guessing.

whether an agency is affiliated with Broward County and the support that it gets from the county.

So I'm asking if there's consensus to allow for that logo to add that on it.

Visit Lauderdale is not the city of Fort Lauderdale.

She cared about all people in this community.

And she loved the community, and she will be sorely missed by us.

This is another incident.
