You can just feel those needles at you.
It's a very clever way in which you slowly destroy someone.
Yeah, yeah.
And I wanted to be as honest about those as possible.
So there was obviously the physical transformation, which, you know, was about prioritizing my health.
And that came, again, a catalyst of change because for the first year, I really got into smoking and drinking and eating very poorly.
And a friend of mine who was a doctor said,
Should I just do some bloods?
Should I just check where you are?
Very, very sweetly.
And look, I was very much on my way to diabetes, you know, heart, all the things.
And that was a big catalyst for change.
I was like, right, I can't.
I thought I was being rebellious.
I thought I was being, you know...
Look at me.
I'm out drinking all the time and I'm having lots of sex and doing all this stuff.
But turns out that there's a time limit to that.
So I wanted to really document that and interview other people who'd had these transformations and how they had healed through movement.
