When I heard that, what's crazy is I just, there's a documentary that has recently come out, a docu-series.
It came out in four episodes in the fall of last year.
And then a final episode just came out last month because of recent developments.
But there's this case called the Yogurt Shop Murders.
here in Texas and Austin, actually in the, I believe it was early nineties, mid nineties, um, three or four teenage girls were found, um, murdered in a yogurt shop that was then set on fire and burned down.
Um,
And in the process of investigating that case, they had found these three teenagers that were at a nearby mall that day that had a gun that was the same caliber of a bullet that they found in the burndown shop.
And these girls were shot to death, uh,
tied these kids to it, ended up actually charging them with it, and they spent some time in jail awaiting that.
Were eventually exonerated.
Did not have any DNA, any link to it whatsoever.
But in the...
or whatever it was that they were talking to these kids, that statement almost identically comes up from multiple of those kids.
Well, I mean, because these cops are really pushing them and really... You know what?
Some of those...
Some of those detectives can get so aggressive that they are accusations that they're making.
They're not asking you questions anymore.
They're accusing you of something, right?
And if you're a 17-year-old kid, which Gus wasn't at the time and isn't now, but this is a 17-year-old kid that's like, I'm standing on my soapbox.
I'm going to die on this hill, man.
