You know, a guy like you is involved in equestrian.
I'm sure there are things that equestrian do that would help rugby union, whether it's from off the field or...
how you look after animals or whatever the story is.
And I say that's probably one area that South Africa has taken a step up.
A lot of emotion in the old days, a lot of power, a lot of that sort of givens that were part of our game, Neil, have now been added to by things like elite player development, coaching structures, outside coaching, as I said, pony contracts where we play as a national interest, all that sort of thing.
So there's a lot of
A lot of thank yous we need to give to the Irish way because it's definitely added a lot more to all our provinces and all our teams.
Bernard, it's interesting because when you wear a provincial hat, like a Leinster hat or a Bulls hat, then you look at that team and you know what you need.
So I'll just give you a stat.
This week, the box assembled, they had 54 players assembled for two test series.
54 players assembled for two test series.
If you consider that the URC teams only contract 57, you're only allowed 57 contracted players for the whole year.
You put things in perspective.
I'm not saying one's right, one's wrong.
54 players for a two-week or three-week or whatever it is test series makes it much easier for you to manage in terms of training sessions, in terms of rotation, in terms of keeping guys fresh for the next couple of tests.
Whereas when you're club side, it comes at a detriment because that means 54 of your guys are now, when the bulls land, they all go again, okay?
So, the model that I'm saying to you, and it's the same, no different.
So, when I was in France, you say GIF and all that, you had that dilemma.
Yeah, you've got a thing where you've got players in and out of alignment camps.
And to be fair, you know, the squad hasn't changed much in the last five years.
