I suppose what they didn't want was a situation what happened in year one.

We had to spend an extra night in Dublin waiting to see if Stormers beat Ulster.

And if Stormers won, we had to come home.

And if Ulster won, we'd have to go to Ulster.

So...

I suppose what they wanted to do from a preparation point of view, URC, to make it the showpiece they wanted to make it for final.

They need more time than one week to find out where the final is, get their branding up, make sure that it's the final.

But already I've seen little things that they've done around the final, you know, the trophy and the two captains and the...

And I suppose the whole build-up to the final is a little bit bigger than it is because you've got two weeks to prepare for it now.

So, again, I suppose that's another external factor, Neil, that's come in that we wouldn't have been, that they would have missed out.

And I suppose on their reviews, I'm talking about from a committee point of view and from a preparation point of view, they would have said, give us two weeks because we need to know where the venue is.

And let's be fair, it could have been Glasgow now and then they've got the Commonwealth Games now, haven't they?

And that probably would have been a dilemma they would have had to handle and work out had it been in Glasgow.

So you're saying you don't think Leinster will be sold out with a Bulls final at home?

Yeah, look, I must say, to answer your first question, it's probably bittersweet is, you know, when you've coached that team, I know the players, I know how hard they worked.

And, you know, it's like I almost said to my wife the other day, I said the team talk I would give now from outside is we always talk about give me one more chance or if I could play one more game.

You know, ex-players, every time they hand out the jersey, they always talk about, you know, geez, I wish I could play one more time.

You know, I'm hoping that the Bulls understand that they're not, again, they're not going to get many more opportunities.

That's crazy because I said that to them, the team talk before last year's final.

You're not going to get many more chances to play a final.
