You know, it requires bravery to say that out loud and to acknowledge that.
And I do think we could learn these skills.
Like the whole point.
of my writing and my public work has been that it's actually not that hard.
Like I don't think, this is not really complicated stuff.
I think it's really just about very basic communication, little tiny habits, like keep us connected.
Like it really, it's not that hard.
Like you wanna run an experiment on it.
Like be around some people that you know that are in a long-term relationship.
And maybe they're like, you know, not getting along.
Or maybe they're getting along, but it's kind of like dull or whatever.
And just in some conversation with the two of them, say, how did you guys meet?
I don't think I ever heard that story.
Tell me the story.
Something changes.
Like their whole demeanor changes.
Like the way they're looking at each other when they're talking.
Because they go back there in their head.
And all of a sudden they're seeing that person like when they were interested and they were interesting, you know, and they reconnect with that moment.
And that's like a cheat code.
