Like who wouldn't want to just be told?
Like it takes nothing to just tell your partner, like, I'm glad I have you.
That's it.
It's nothing.
It takes nothing, costs nothing.
And that's, I think, what keeps us connected is these little tiny, these little tiny acknowledgements of making you feel seen, of making you feel like I'd still choose you.
Because we aren't still choosing each other.
You wake up every day and you choose this person.
And, you know, I've said it before that
I think loving anything is kind of insane because to love anything is to acknowledge that you're going to lose it.

It ends in death or divorce.
It's weird because it's like one of the only things in the world you go, I hope this ends in death.
But it's true.
Like it's all going to end.
So we're really just with each other for a little bit of time.
You know, 100 years from now, everyone you love will be gone and everyone who loved you will be gone.
And so really we're just sort of riding this moment.
And we spend a lot of our early life like looking for our person.
And it becomes an increasingly important priority.
