So Quest Diagnostics, I imagine a lot of your listeners will have heard of us.
We are one of the primary lab companies in the US.
Like you hit on in the intro, we annually serve roughly one in three US Americans, about fifty percent of physicians throughout the US, and we have access to about ninety percent of insured lives.
Quests
Really great company to work for, huge enterprise, obviously, and with that comes some unique challenges and benefits from an SEO perspective.
Yeah, so I used to work on a much smaller marketing team in a previous role.
So coming from a smaller company into a a Fortune 500 company like Quest Diagnostics, the couple unique challenges that come to mind.
The first one is there's never enough staff for SEO, right?
Obviously there's gonna be different levels of SEO maturity across some of these large enterprise corporations, but for the most part
Part, I don't think that a lot of these companies have the optimal amount of SEO staff.
So for example, I'm a team of one within a marketing team of I want to say roughly a hundred people in a company of roughly 50,000 people, right?
And so when you work for a large matrix organization like Quest Diagnostics, that comes with a couple different challenges.
There's challenges like
Lots of executives that have different priorities within the business, different levels of understanding from colleagues and executives about what SEO is, why it's important, the value that it can bring to an organization.
And then the one that probably hits me the most in my day-to-day work is lack of sufficient development resources, right?
There's almost always a bigger
Fire to be put out than whatever issue I'm having with core web vitals or some sort of page template.
That's awesome.
