Hello, something's going on here.
So, and that happened quite a lot.
So I actually became so busy traveling and speaking that my full-time employer said, look, we need to cut you to part-time, Jeff.
So I sort of got myself slowly fired by being distracted by my blog.
Yeah.
And that's called bootstrapping by the way.
That's a term.
Yep.
they paid me around about 5,000 US.
And I asked them, actually, I said, how do you know who I am?
Because I'm just a blogger from Australia.
They said, well, we see you everywhere.
So obviously that, what I call being ubiquitous online, it created that credibility and trust.
And also you are defined by your influence, defined by your content online.
So the conversation was interesting and it was just...
It was surprising that the influence that creating content online and then also sharing it on social media channels, how powerful that can be.
And that was also a bit of a wake-up call for me to see the real power of global reach that social media networks provided.
It's gone up.
I actually have been full-time for 18 months now, so I actually don't have a day job.
