If you always feel like a kid waiting to get that little slap on the hand and you did it wrong, we're living in that fear state that we were as kids.

No, I do think it's both.
I do think it's weird.
I don't think anyone feels like a grown-up when you're 80.
But also...
We are going to feel more like this feels like pressure to be an adult instead of freedom.
Oh, okay.
When you're regulated, the true, true core of regulation, there's so many benefits to it.
But I think that the very core is freedom.
I'm free to do what I want to do when I want to do it.
I'm not run by guilt and shame and random rules because that's part of all or nothing thinking is weird, strange, perhaps unspoken rules that we create for ourselves.

Like, I'm not allowed to go hang out in the yard until I've gotten all my work done.
Well, because I don't feel like doing my work, I'm going to sit here and scroll then because I'm not allowed to go do the fun thing.
