And so all that you can do to be a good host body...
Or I'm so glad we agree about the aliens thing.
It's not normal.

So to be a good host body or to be a good steward of your child's welfare, to be a good parent, you have to be good to yourself.
That's the thing is you have to be good to yourself because how you treat yourself and how you engage with the world creates the reality that your child is exposed to.
So let's do away with the idea that your child could be born into utopia because this is not utopia.

Here are bad days.
Bodies are confusing.
Lots of different kinds of emotions.
You don't always get what you want.
Sometimes you get sick, right?
Like these are all parts of the human experience.
And so...
Creating this expectation that comes out of patriarchy, according to me, that you as the host body, especially you as the woman, are responsible to be a perfect vessel so that you can have an adequate child.
Let's take that, crumple it up, throw it away.
And instead say...
