And, you know, so that makes it a little hard to pin on the internet, although clearly it's accelerated in the internet era.
But, you know, what are the reasons for it?
I mean, I think sometimes it's just a cultural shift.
I think in some cases, I mean, what I would say about
Donald Trump, I think we have a real risk of over-interpreting what it all means.

Well, I think we should forget that Donald Trump is a uniquely talented person.
And it's uncomfortable for someone who dislikes him so much to say that, but I think it's true.
And, you know, he puts on a hell of a show.
He knows how to throw out a zinger.
He knows how to work the media.
I mean, he's really good at working the media.
You know, sort of distracting everybody with his latest nonsense while these serious issues are getting neglected.
But that's a once in a lifetime, once in a generation.
