So he was like, shut down the office, took everybody out for lunch and realized that we're onto something.
And he started building these lists in every, you know, state elections and going all the way down, building anybody who had donated money and built that list up to hundreds of thousands of people and probably now millions.
Knowing that those are the people who are the fundraiser, you know, the contributors, that was such a, he's kind of largely credited with getting Ronald Reagan elected in the 80s.
think that's funny though i think he's like i love him so much he's so enthusiastic he loves marketing he loves politics he loves conservative you know politics that's his thing right his mission is spreading conservatism and i just thought man that's such an interesting if that's available for you like in this limited time if you look at how can if the goal is to really
you really have to influence 10% of the people 100% of the way.
And that's kind of an interesting approach.
I learned that from Roy Williams talking about radio advertising, talking about reach or frequency, that you have the choice.
Do you want to convince 100% of the people 10% of the way, or do you want to convince 10% of the people 100% of the way?
And that's so you knew who those 60,000 persuadables are for you.
And you could focus all of your attention on those people.
