So Carriage used to have an evergreen contract where we never even put it out to bid.

We finally put it out to bid and we wound up with the same vendor and we had them for years and years and we finally got rid of them for a number of improprieties in their

oversight and management of the system, and which is why uh as the mayor pointed out we brought it up back in-house.

But you know, with with with regard to the pricing schedule, the policy decision was made by the cemetery trust board and endorsed by the commission that we want to keep this as a low-cost option for residents.

We're not trying to maximize profits on this.
