We loved life.
We had a great time all the time.
There was not health insurance was not was not common that day.
So we never had health insurance with our three kids.
However, generally, you know, almost for nine months, how much you're going to have to save up.
First credit card I had was for a department store.
And that was about 10 years into marriage.
We started overspending and I guess around late 70s and got in a hole with credit cards.
And so one year in our married life, she worked outside the home.
We stayed in the budget again.
Yes, that's something that I believe.
Absolutely.
It's a very simple concept and we've really practiced that.
So we weren't in a hole like anybody gets in today or she wouldn't have been able to pay it off in one year because we did spend some additional money that year since she had airline privileges.
We went to London and we went to Hawaii.
Oh my.
So we spent some of the money.
Okay.
Probably $4,000 or $5,000.
Which is a lot if your wages are $15,000.
