That's true.
We do not aspire to grand things.
I mean, the car I drive is 18 years old.
Oh, no, that was never a goal.
You just keep your nose at the grindstone, keep working and be frugal.
and enjoy life, and things seem to be okay.
When I had the misconception that doing good things had something to do with getting to heaven, I started tithing when I was 10 years old, and I have never stopped.
But I was not a Christian yet.
There you go.
It was a misconception, of course.
But it served me well.
And I find that to be true.
Anyone who embraces generosity as a common practice in their own heart and then in turn within their family, you cannot outgive God enough.
And when you know you managed for him, it's all his anyway.

And also, it really commands that you be careful.
Like, we don't do the lottery.
