Well, as you said, I don't believe in retirement, so I'm not retired.
I just don't work for money anymore because most of our income is passive, most of it, in that I have partnerships with my sons, and they do a lot of the work.
I still manage 22 properties.
I had to pause it.
That sold money with the jewel financial.
Actually, it was almost exactly 30 years ago.
When I was in my early 40s, I really believed that God was leading me to mow yards and to fight the devil in the city of Lexington.
Well, that's a pretty nebulous picture on the second half of that.
So I moved here and started mowing yards.
And for the first time in my life, we had more money.
It wasn't like looking at the bottom line before you pay your bills and nobody knows what this means anymore and kiting a check.
Do you know what that means?
Oh, absolutely.
That's right.
But we always managed, even though our income was lower.
I would go do something.
I'd go buy a used car and fix it up and sell it.
I've never had any doubt that I could earn as much as I needed to earn.
And so we mowed yards.
