Carol and I just happen to both be frugal.
We are not frivolous in our spending.
It's not uncommon at all for me to buy clothes at Goodwill.
But I find that many people are, I think you said it earlier, trying to impress someone they don't even like.
Or they are just so empty in some respect inside that they think that spending money will help them feel better about themselves.
And when either spouse is in that kind of a mess inside themselves, they probably need to go find some counseling.
or go enroll in Dave Ramsey, or do something radical financially in order to address the inner problem that has led to their financial downfall.
I mean, there's gambling addiction, and I consider that to be a huge issue on the horizon because of the legalization of sports gambling and the ability to do so from your phone.

I just feel like I'm going to get a lot more foreclosures at my disposal as a result.
But there's a great deal of self-discipline required.
I remember one time, it's delayed gratification.
I found a suit I desperately wanted, but I didn't have enough money for it.
So I dropped in there every couple of weeks to see if it was still there, and I determined when it goes down to X number of dollars, I'm going to buy it.
It was like six months, and I finally catch the suit at the price I wanted, and I bought it.
But most people are impulse buyers, which is even worse than that.
So if you just see something, you want it, and you buy it without regard to what it costs, like a $7 cup of coffee, come on.
I buy a whole meal with my coupons for $7.
Absolutely.
I would say, wait, I better let her speak for herself.
