And that's what Klinsman was an absolute master at.
Gets away from defenders and then has that composure to tuck the ball away.
You don't score as many goals for as many years as Jürgen Klinsman without being one of the very, very best.
And he was tough to defend against.
Yeah, it's amazing.
The years go by and you tend to very quickly forget.
You see the big names come into Tottenham, Mourinho there, all the star players, Harry Kane, Dele Alli.
And you've got it.
It isn't that long ago that actually there was major problems at Tottenham.
So, Klinsmann had a huge part to play in making sure Tottenham didn't drop out of the Tottenham division.
Just imagine, again, if that had happened, we've seen with Manchester City in the past, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds dropping out of the Premier League is an absolute disaster.
And that could easily have happened to Tottenham without Klinsmann.
It's horrendous.
I only suffered one relegation in my career and I still think about it now as it's Sheffield Wednesday.
My final season, actually full season as a professional, we got relegated and Wednesday I've never got back to the Premier League.
So I played my part in Wednesday going down.
I feel that very deeply every time I go back there.
