Hey Dyson, yeah, glad to be back.
Happy to happy to chat with you again.
Yeah, I think so as as the efficiency of publishing has has gone up drastically with the advent of of AI, it's become so easy for somebody to just click publish and push out a thousand a thousand articles.
And that introduces a whole range of potential problems that companies need to be on top of in terms of being able to manage the risks of somebody going rogue in their marketing team.
their SEO team and and thinking that they're sort of gonna juice some numbers for a month or a quarter um and be able to hammer out a ton of a ton of content.
And so I think with that sort of increase in efficiency, it need there's been this sort of the slower response around the sort of ethics and safety and control on the damage that can happen when unmitigated content production occurs.
with with no controls in place.
Yeah, I think I think the I mean, I think this industry is probably leading the way in terms like we talk to a lot of industries.
Um and I'd say this and then I mean I come from kind of the SEO content marketing world, but we ha within Originality we have tons of customers from academia and other places.
I think
definitely leading the way in terms of knowledge of both the power of of generative AI as well as as well as some of the risks.
I think there's definitely a lot of people that have sort of understood those risks and and are are sort of managing them and trying to avoid the brand reputation, the legal potential consequences of publishing content without a proper editorial process.
I think there's also a lot of people that, you know, frankly don't care.
just are still in the game of trying to uh find the right sort of hack to the prompt or find the right sort of
Clever strategy that gets them out of doing the hard work of ensuring that the content that they're publishing doesn't introduce new risk for their business.
So the the short answer is yes.
I think
Anytime somebody has a short-term vision, a short short-term lens on what they're doing, I think it and and not focusing on adding value, I think that that is a bad decision.
I think there's times if if the objective is learning, like if you're very, very early in your sort of call it SEO journey, I think it's impossible to kind of go down that journey without making a lot of mistakes and learning from those mistakes.
So I think if you're super early in your journey around and you what you're building is is you're be building it for the purposes of learning, I think you need to be, you know, ensuring that you're not introducing new legal risk around publishing something that that provides harmful suggestions.
