So, look, I know a lot of people are worried that AI is gonna kill us all before Shrek 5 can give us closure.
Mainly because the tech CEOs gave us six months to live.
But I'm not really sold on their narrative.
I think it's just as likely that these people in a speculative, overblown industry got into a room and were like, so... is everybody out of money?
And this whole thing, this whole thing of pumping the brakes is actually about taking the pressure off of them to deliver massive returns that we know still aren't possible.
It's a lot like if a guy couldn't get it up, but instead of apologizing, he was like, it's actually like...
too big, you know?
Like, that's the problem, really.
Like, I'm really saving your life right now because this thing is too dangerous.
Like, it's not that I can't perform, it's that I want you to live.
So I don't think we can trust the tech CEOs, and I know we can't trust Trump, who needs the AI bubble to prop up the economy.
Really, I just need someone who is trustworthy and fully on the ball to tell me yes or no, is everything gonna be okay.
