Okay, so the motion is
I move that the Board of Supervisors approve the Board of Supervisors 2028 to 2031 term annual compensation structure as provided in Table 4 of the June 16th, 2026 Board of Supervisors Business Meeting Action Item.
I further move that the Board of Supervisors direct staff to bring an item to the Board of Supervisors meeting in the year prior to each regularly scheduled.
Board of Supervisors election once that year's annual median income is released, which recommends Board of Supervisors compensation for the following term to be aligned with that year's area median income.

Obviously, I worked with my colleagues, Supervisor Glass and Supervisor DeCroni, on this.
We've been talking about it for a while.
Um, we thought the fair thing to do would be to peg this to a single household or single person's household AMI, which means that a full 50% of those in the county will make less, and a full 50% of residents in the county will
Will make more than the single person's AMI.
And so we thought that was a fair way to kind of peg this and move forward with it so it's not kind of a a debate that is not based in some sort of or rooted in some sort of facts about what what it requires to be able to live in this county.
