The Sky entered the season as the most injured team in the league.
They brought in a bunch of veteran, older, injured players and then did not provide them with the resources necessary to keep those players safe and allow them to keep doing what they need to do every single day.

And, you know, this there's there's a lot of different parts of this, too, where it's like this is a private, a public private partnership.
This is not a facility that they are going to own.
This is a essentially a lease situation where they are working with the village of Bedford Park.
But this is not a piece of real estate that is going into the financial portfolio of this team.
It will not impact the valuation of the sky if they ever wish.
to sell in the future like there are a lot of different pieces of this practice facility that are definite like not red flags necessarily there are ways that you can work with all of these things but certainly are yellow flags for a front office and I think that just in general the reason that you're seeing so much frustration is that everyone feels in the dark and it's one thing to keep fans in the dark it's one thing to keep media in the dark
But when that starts hitting players and players actually start feeling like they don't know what's going on, that's when you just lose the plot in terms of being able to run not just a functioning franchise, but a competitive basketball team.

Yeah, I mean, I think the first kind of impression that I had was just this feels like a very fresh start.
And it feels that way for a lot of reasons.
Bryson is young.
He is someone who is still really looking to prove himself in the NBA as a front office executive.
And I think all of those factors kind of brought this very fresh energy, this very different feel, just kind of compared to what we felt around the team and around the front office in past years.
Yeah, I appreciated a few different aspects of how he approached that.
First, something that I think is very frustrating for any of us in the media space and for fans as well is when executives refuse to say the word rebuild.
And that was a word that he was happy to say today.
And I think that that is really helpful because it lets us get the semantic debate out of the way and just actually talk planning nuts and bolts what the future is going to look like.
