So, yeah, walking into that first England camp, it was...
You know, very nerve wracking.
And really, I didn't have much pressure as far as, you know, the level, the training and what have you.
It's just dealing with the nerves because it's a new environment.
You want to impress.
But really, I just kind of took each step in my stride.
And I wouldn't say it was pressure.
I think initially at club level, yes.
But at international, I wouldn't say so as much.
I would say because obviously it's more of a competitive environment and the mindset of being an international is another step up from the level that I was used to at club, where a lot of the players there were there and it was a social.
It was going because they wanted to be part of a team and
They wanted to have that friendships and stuff like that.
Then stepping up to the England fold, I think then it was very much right.
You're here, get on board.
And this is what we do.
This is how we train.
And I remember the first camp was something like, you know, it was two or three days over a weekend.
It wasn't like a week long.
Now we have months long kind of preparations into a World Cup, etc.
And I remember literally doing the training sessions and going back to my room and just falling asleep, aching all over because I wasn't used to it and literally just being so tired that I couldn't believe the step up.
