A little bit of a spin or rotation and quickly can develop a tropical cyclone.
Now, this is going to be over these warm waters of the Gulf Stream as well.
So that's one thing that does bode well for it.
However, the upper level wind flow this time of the year in this portion of the world is pretty strong because we have strong upper-level jet stream energy that tends to kind of shear these systems apart.
Looking at the satellite review, you can see it's what we call an asymmetric.
System, meaning the area of low pressure that we're starting to see develop is not co-located with the mass of thunderstorms.
That tends to drop the pressures, strengthens the storm when we see more of organization.
We're not seeing that right now.
One of the reasons the National Hurricane Center is giving this just a 10% chance of development.
So it's certainly something we'll watch because uh the front is out there and we can clearly see that uh rotation.
on the satellite review, but the odds aren't all that favorable for development.
And if sh something should develop, it'll be pushing towards the coastline in a very weak fashion, guys.
So something we watch this time of the year as we look at the sea surface temperatures.
Again, middle and upper eighties.
And again, we have the jet or the Gulf Stream that runs through here as well.
It's pretty cool.
Yes, kind of starts from the loop current in the Gulf and then works its way through the Florida Straits, up the uh South Florida coast, and then off into the Atlantic.
And uh that's one of the reasons, it's an interesting fact that Europe.
is a little bit milder than if you look at the same latitude and you look to the west over Canada, they're like Arctic and freezing.
