Um the other thing I want to talk about is anybody who has driven down Winchester and encountered Ste Stevens Creek, we had pictures of it up there, saw oh that's it, the agrihood.
Um, twenty years ago, Kirk started fighting for the agrihood.
This was UC Davis Agricultural Land that he said, if we're gonna develop here, let's talk about what it can be.

So when Agrihood uh established in two twenty twenty-three, it was s California's largest uh agricultural farm.
Is that why we Urban Farm?

It's a farm that provides for the community, but Kurt didn't stop there.
Kirk talked about what is housing gonna be like here.
Housing at the agrihood really talks about those needs that we focused on in Santa Clara, um, veterans, seniors.
How do we make this?
And it's one thing to create the housing, but we we fought for placemaking.
I I say we, I wasn't there, but for 20 years, Kirk put up this fight.
And so, as somebody who is not a Santa Clara resident but a business owner.
He was consistently fighting.
And so I don't know many people.
We have parks named after red residents, but there's a space of land that uniquely has his imprint on it.
