Do you ever look back and like, damn, if I would have just... I could have done more, but I'm not bummed about it.
Well, I have to show the home.
I have to build a relationship at closing.
I got to do this.
I got to do that.
I always said this.
I said this to Dustin Runyon a number of times.
I was like, dude, because I was always worried.
I said it slightly differently.
I was like, I didn't want to fucking climb up a mountain, be halfway up a mountain and realize that's not the mountain I wanted to be on.
I wanted to be on a different mountain.
And especially in our industry, because one of the beautiful things about real estate is I could just copy what you do every day and I'm going to have success.
Now, whether or not that is the amount or the kind of success that I want, that's a totally different question.
But I could just copy you and have success, or I could just copy Chris and I can have success.
And that's the beautiful thing about our industry.
It's also the bad thing because if I just copy you, I'll have success, but then I might realize that version of success is terrible for me.
That too, but I'll still have a certain level of success if I'm actually doing everything you told me to do or doing everything Chris told me to do, I'm going to have some success.
But to me, the problem is like you wake up and then it's a trap.
It can be a trap if you didn't take the time to go, what is it that I really want?
I'd always say this to people who are trying to grow a team.
