I feel like this is the time of year where the slowing down mentally, the fatigue comes into play. You guys, I feel like all three of us are very successful, but at completely different stages in our life. And different methods. Yeah, different methods. What do you... I don't even know how to really ask this, but the whole motivation conversation or those seasons of...
Kevin Kauffman 0:57
Bro, I'll tell you something. I just, I, yeah, sorry. Finish your, finish your.
Unknown 1:01
No, you know where I was going with it. It's just like, it's so weird. Cause like I always hit my goals and I always, I get agents that come to me with motivation. It's the fine line of like, Hey, push through it. And then also like letting yourself go through those seasons. I'm always curious. Like people are so much further ahead than most. I'm like, they have, they have to deal with the same thing, but it's just like, I feel like it's all perception.
Yeah.
Kevin Kauffman 1:22
I had a realization yesterday for myself personally. I was meeting with an agent. It's kind of counseling, coaching, being a friend, all in one. And I said something to her that I realized later in the day might be true for my, is not might be, is most likely true for myself. And the thing I said to her is like, this person had a tough start in life, tough life. Like If even half of what she told me about her life is true, fuck, so tough. And she's a machine. She could go sell 10 houses next month, no problem.

What is the core message about motivation and burnout for agents?

Kevin Kauffman 2:04
She does. She's already sold, I don't know, some 50 or 60 units solo agent all by herself this year alone. We're not even halfway through the year technically. what I said to her was, it's like, the thing is, is like, you're so far advanced of what you ever thought was possible for you. And then I realized later in the day on one of my walks, I was like, i'm already way past what i ever thought was possible for me as a kid and i'm and i was like where is that showing like i shouldn't say where i know some of the places where that shows up for me but i started thinking about like where else is that showing up for me in my life that i didn't even realize was was the block because because it's there for sure so
Kevin Kauffman 2:53
I'm not sure if that totally answers the question or the heart of what you're getting at, but just literally something in the last 24 hours I've thought about is like, damn, I already hit goals that I never even thought I would hit.
Unknown 3:04
Yeah. Like I didn't even think were possible. Well, I know like this, the basic answer of like, cause it's, it's like, it seems like more people's, some people struggle with it. Some people don't. It's like, Oh, are those people that who don't just have that much more willpower or just that much stronger mentally? It's like,
Kevin Kauffman 3:19
yeah within reason but like what and then like people are like well they have a bigger why or a bigger purpose i'm like i get all that that's a that i feel like that can be true and that also can be just complete bullshit some people are actually just absolutely addicted to money or power or the next level some people like myself could get more addicted and that would be beneficial right there's there's a There's a sliding scale there because I think a lot of people are like, I got to go do this next thing. And I'm like, but do you? I'll tell you, I was sitting in this room with me and Fred and a friend of ours. We weren't recording. We were talking. business plan. And I said to him, it's like, well, it better happen for July 1st because I'm gone.
Kevin Kauffman 4:03
Like we're gone. Like you're not going to get, be able to get ahold of me in July.
