I'm sure many listening have had the same one with their friends and family.
When you open up your app and you see what you see in your app, that's not really your money.
It's a representation of your money.
It tells you it's a ledger of what you have available to be able to go spend because by law, money in the US is a physical thing.
OK, and that's one of the things that gets people really confused.
But we have over the years found ways to be able to move things around.
In fact, one concept people get lost on all the time is settlement taking place between a Fed master account.
And I mean, I've heard of people making in years.
They're like, wait, what is that?
And I'm like, that's where the real money moves.
Oh, so it gets confusing because what you see in your account, it's a representation of it.
When we get over to stablecoin, it's a digital asset because it's a representation of it, but it's a representation of it designed to be able to move from location to location, not just sit in your wallet, not just be put into some type of payment like the money in your account becomes an ACH payment.
But the stable coin, it becomes something on its own.
It gets put in a digital wallet and it allows you then to have that as an asset, as a coin that you know equals one US dollar.
And this is the good part.
This is why we're having this happen, that you can now transact on a blockchain because the blockchain piece is really why we are getting stable coins and what is going to make it to where we can do even more in electronic banking than we've ever done before.
OK, and that's a great question.
And one of the things that I've got to do is, you know, I'm the payments professor.
There's got to be a little lesson in here somewhere.
And as we all know, in pretty much everything we currently do in banking, we have what's called a classic four corners model, which represents the participants in the payment channel.
