This was a three-hour drive away from where she was living at the time.

And going to college can be a very exciting time for any young person.

They get to take the next step into independence.

And Stephanie was in her element.

She quickly made friends, and they were definitely drawn to her warmth, her fun-loving nature, her intelligence, her kindness, and also her goofiness.

And Stephanie and her friends embraced everything about campus life, whether that was attending costume parties on the weekends, just hanging out and getting to know the new town,

or studying together.

And Stephanie's passion for sports continued as well.

She played for a local soccer club, the Tallin' Wolves, where she actually captains a team.

And as if she wasn't busy enough, she also played three seasons for Riverina Lions.

This is a women's football team.

And being the social butterfly that Stephanie was, she often went back home to visit all of her friends and her family in her hometown.

And she loved keeping in touch with everyone that she cared about.

And she nurtured those relationships.

And this included someone that she had known since grade school.

Stephanie played soccer with a boy.

Aaron was a talented soccer player, and he and Stephanie worked together at the local IGA grocery store.

The two of them grew close through spending many hours on road trips as teenagers when Bob drove them to regional soccer competitions.
