Then those byproducts, the lactate and the acetate, go to organisms like Fecale bacteria prosnitsi, which then finally convert them into butyrate.
So if you didn't have that chain, if you didn't have enough ruminococcus to do that first degradation, you're not getting the substrates for the Fecale bacteria to make the butyrate.
Or if you have low Fecale bacteria, you're making acid.
Acetate and lactate, but you're not converting it into butyrate.
So that ecosystem, that network, that cross feeding is really important.
So one of the things that you're doing if you do, for example, a fecal transplant from a young person to an older person is you're reestablishing those networks and that cross feeding.
Now what we've shown in a published study is you can reestablish that with just the spore probiotics as well.
Uh we we published a paper in twenty
twenty eighteen where we showed if you add the spores into your microbiome, in three weeks you see about a fifty percent increase in butyrate production endogenously.
To sleep.
Massive.
It's huge, right?
Yeah, for sure.
And then it also turns on something called AMPK, which is your fat burning m system, which stacks with caffeine, which does it as well.
Yeah, exactly.
And so, you know, when you take the Just Thrive probiotic and and you take it and especially when you add things like resistant starches or prebiotics with it, we so in that same study we did both.
And when we added the resistance starch and the prebiotics, what we saw was about a hundred and fifty percent increase.
Wow.
It tripled the effect.
Right?
