I think Simon Sinek talks about the law of diffusion of innovation where, you know, the first four to seven percent of any industry is like you.
They get it.
They already know and they probably know just as much about a product as you do because of their own interests, the circumstances of their careers, maybe.
But then you have this first adopter, early adopter segment, which is like another 12% to 15%.
Then you have the late adopter.
And then you have the tipping point where you cross the check.
Right?
So the reality is I've always been right there at the late adopter because I don't need that technology to define.
I think a lot of the people that run around with iPhones in the early days
were like, look at me, I'm pretty advanced.
You know, and I was like, my BlackBerry crushes it.
I'd still be rocking a BlackBerry if I could.
I love the little Pearl.
And the best server, the security of it was awesome too.
But my thing is, is like, I just wasn't a real big fan of jumping into the first version of anything.
But there is always less than 10% of the market of anything that they will be the first adopters.
AI was something that we took a little bit of time trying to figure out how we wanted to bring it on.
And it got to the point where there's two risks.
Can you take the risk of adopting a piece of technology that's so complicated and still emerging?
and getting lost in the sauce because the integration of it is going to be harder in the first stages?
