And MacuHealth, in the way that it existed then, which was MacuHealth didn't have its own sales team at that time.
um but macuhealth was involved in it there was another supplement company as well that was involved in it a company called site risk which calculated the risk based on yeah i remember that yeah calculated the risk of a patient like the age at which a patient might develop age-related macular degeneration based on all of the different um factors of the disease both you know genetic and epigenetic and lifestyle and diet and all of that kind of stuff and then
Also, ECR Vault was a part of it.
And and I think, oh, also, I don't know if you guys remember the genetic test by Arctic Deer.
So anyway, I worked on that project prior to this and I was like kind of I was basically the educator.
So I would go around the country to the practices that were implementing this AMDI manager, this module that kind of helped helped you guys keep going.
your AMD patients longer and have more control over patient care for age-related macular degeneration patients.
And so there was co-management as opposed to just like straight refer to retina.
Like it was essentially transitioning optometry to become more comfortable manning the ship and utilizing the services of vitreo-retinal surgeons as a part of that management, as opposed to just passing the patient off.
So macular health was obviously a huge part of that.
So during that time, I kind of developed this conversation talking to practices about how to care for these patients.
But everything back then was all about age-related macular degeneration.
And we have learned so, so much since then.
So I'm very proud of the journey that I've been on.
I started in optomics as a technician.
It feels like 100 years ago.
And I...
Yeah, yeah.
But it's been a really amazing journey.
And what's been really wonderful about it is that, gosh, there's so much science.
