But it's grasping.
And I can only say to people that try and give your phone up for two days.
Something that we know now is addictive.
It's no secret.
But imagine that with also the chemical crotch, with attachment wounds, with trauma wounds, with something that feels like it fills a gap.
They know it doesn't.
They know that it won't, but for a moment it feels that way, you know, so it's incredibly hard.
I wish it came down to motivation.
I wish it came down to love and I wish it came down to promises.
And I think a lot of the time for someone in addiction, they do believe like they do believe that they will stop.
They want it so badly.
No one comes into this world and thinks like, yeah, sure.
I'll fall into addiction.
I have a lot to say on that because of where I'm from.
And this is coming from someone who's had their heart broken a million times by addiction on the other side.
But there's a difference.
And I'm looking at the email and one that you got earlier as well.
There is a difference between understanding someone and loving someone and knowing when you can't have relationship with someone because relationship does require safety.
