And then, um,
They realize then they end up staying in the same place and you're setting up these systems of governments and larger scale relationships.
So, again, self-determination theory, totally relevant to all facets of our life.
But it originated in our relationship with our surroundings and we can still either feed it or or starve it in that relationship.

And that's like our generation, my generation, at least I'm 47 where it's like, yeah, that was, there was absolutely no conversation about anything about the office.
You were just happy and pleased to have the job.
You would show up when they said you would,
you know sit where they told you to sit and so yeah it's new now to be kind of shaped in a good way i think to have more autonomy in that decision
Yeah, that's that's such a great example.
I think the failure there is that, you know, kind of we shifted the layout above these core needs.
Right.
And so I'm an introvert, too.
And Susan's work has transformed my life.
I have students read books in my classes and, you know, somebody chooses quiet every semester.
But this need to to have a say is more important than whether it's open office or closed office.
Right.
