And the beginning of the article is I wish I had had Susan's article because it just shows how it kind of goes back and forth between somebody advocating for open and then somebody advocating for closed and somebody advocating for open and closed.
those are important considerations, but what's really important is that people feel like they have a say in those spaces.
We have an amazing open office on our campus.
And one of the reasons that it fails for some people is less is even it's because everybody associates it with the Dean who kind of like forced it through who's no longer there.
And, and then, you know, so it's, they feel like they didn't have a say in what this space is, even though it's like,
obviously better than the other spaces that they might be able to access.

And one of the studies I found that was super striking for me was a study of nursing homes.
And it's a pretty famous study.
And what they did was looked at people who... The control and experimental group, one group was able to move things around in the nursing home.
The other group was not.

Then 18 months later, they came back and the group that wasn't able to move things around, they were 50% more likely to be dead.
And so it's like, this is, again, that's, it's just, you know, I want to be careful.
I mean, it's like 60 people in the study, but that's how fundamental this need is, right?
That it's a...
it's not going to kill you if you're a 47 year old, right?
But it's, it's a need that kind of keeps us going and has a lot of impact on, you know, the rest of our health.
