You're listening to The Little Things and our guest is long-time GP and trusted healthcare communicator, Dr. Ginny Mansberg, talking about evidence-based ways to live well for longer.
We'll be back after the break.
Jenny, when I was flicking through the book, and I did read it like a novel, it reads great like a novel as well.
When I was flicking through it, when you talk about heart health, I did wonder whether if you picked one chapter and went, right, I'm going to really sort of focus on my heart health, that would actually tick a lot of other boxes of things that you need to be doing for other things.
Is that fair?
I do love it.
I do love lifting heavy shit.
I really do.
Yes.
Actually, that's really interesting.
I was fascinated to learn about the autoimmune disease in that chapter.
It compromises of around 100 different illnesses and predominantly affects women.
But it's the leading cause of death in middle-aged women.
I didn't know that.
Exactly.
This will crack you up, Ginny.
So while I'm on the radio, I have a little bit of time on my hands while I'm talking to people.
And I have my grip thing in my work bag.
And I sit on the radio and I squeeze my Duma grip.
Because sometimes you've just got to find the weirdest times to get things done.
