So we're aware of the effort that goes in and the difference, as you mentioned, between speaking to a friend or a family member who has a vested interest in you staying as you are in some way, not in a negative way necessarily.

um it's a wonderful it's hard work but it's like the most rewarding that there is and it's quicker if you get outside help yeah and there's such a richer life on the other side of fear i would say existing this side or with fear in front of you you're not going to have half the experiences and relationships even the honesty is it is well worth it but it is scary

Now, Madeleine, you do something called trauma-sensitive coaching.

Tell me a little bit about that.

And I think that a lot of us have experienced trauma which we don't realize was trauma.

You mentioned trauma of a small T, which I think is an excellent recognition of trauma.

But you don't have to have had something like survive near death or whatever for it to be traumatic.

Because as you say, as a child, there are lots of things that could be trauma.

And I think a lot of us are not aware of what that was, let alone our parents.

Maybe not in the case that you mentioned, but in other cases, we're completely unaware of how traumatic something was.

It was never badly intentioned in some cases.

Absolutely.

So it's more a matter of dealing with it.

I think there's also an element of.

teaching ourselves educating the fear i mean if i tend to think of a fear as a as a thing as an identity so educating it that what it because i believe if i i like dragons so if i think of it as a dragon um

then it's about it's a small dragon and educating it that it doesn't have to protect me against this thing that's scary.

It doesn't have to stop me from being outside.
