Like, why is my body not doing what it was supposed to be doing?

And at the end of that, she said, I'm not really sure why you can't make enough milk.

I really can't help you with that.

Some women just don't make enough milk.

But there's a supplement called fenugreek that you can try.

And, you know, maybe that will help.

And that felt very discouraging to think that there wasn't a solution.

And I wasn't happy with that.

I always joke that I'm kind of like the Hermione Granger of lactation because for me, it's always, I need to know the why.

I'm just constantly curious about the inner workings of everything.

And so that option wasn't satisfactory to me.

I needed to understand the underlying reason why I couldn't make enough milk.

And I eventually did find out.
