I started testing formulations on myself.

And I was able to come out with five different formulations that ultimately worked for me.

I found, you know, I would test, okay, I'm going to try this formulation for a week and see if it increased my milk supply.

And if it did, I would continue with the next formulation.

And at that point, I was four months postpartum.

For me, I just felt like I had accumulated so much knowledge over this period of time that I just wanted to share it with other moms because it felt like I was very isolated and alone and that I was the only one going through low milk supply.

So I posted the products, the formulations.

I ordered bottles and, you know, more pills and all of that, more ingredients.

And I posted them on Etsy.

I had a little printer.

I made my own little clip art labels.

I mean, it was really scrappy, very scrappy.

Just working in my little studio in my house.

And I thought, you know, maybe if there's just, you know, another mom out there who's experiencing the same thing, at least she has other options now.

Yeah.

And maybe I'll get one order a month just as a fun hobby.

And someone in a Facebook breastfeeding group of 20,000 moms, someone had purchased the product and was raving about it in the group.

And I remember I received like 50 orders overnight one day.

And I was doing everything myself.

So I was still making all of the pills.
