So that gives you a little bit of wiggle room.

I think that there's enough evidence to convict me, but I'm not saying that I did do this.

So it's wiggle room.

So he would have done it as an Alfred plea.

So he would have been able to, in his deep down heart and to God, that he believed that he didn't do it.

But the evidence was obviously a lot more, you know, and that he could get convicted.

To come full circle to the conversation, the question that Colby asked about how I feel about it, I don't take this very easily.

If I know somebody has done it, I tell them from the beginning, hey, my job is not to get you off of this.

My job is to mitigate your losses, to limit your exposure so that you don't end up in jail for the rest of your life and get you the best deal possible.

And that's the thing that people really take seriously.

offense with criminal defense attorneys because they're just talking about, oh, we're always doing deals.

We're always working out things.

We're working out things because a guilty person has come to us and said, give us the best possible deal.

When we're trying cases where we're saying the client is not guilty, we're not working deals.

But it's few and far between where the client is saying that they're not guilty.

It leads me to another similar situation where a client did say he was not guilty.

And so, murder case.
