Very intelligent.

Yes.

Not initially, probably not.

I think it sort of did a lot of damage to his digestive system because it was on the lining of his stomach and it was just too close.

So it did a lot of damage.

He couldn't really eat.

And it got to the stage at home where he couldn't drink much either.

I remember one day he was he was trying to build up strength and he drank a glass and a half of water over the course of the whole day.

And he was so, so sick from it.

He just he was so nauseous.

It was unbelievable and just couldn't seem to get, you know, his feet on the ground kind of thing.

It was awful.

It was.

I mean, he was this really strong man, so positive, so upbeat.

And then he was kind of

sitting around with a vomit bag always near him just ready to go and we were having lots of support by then from the hospice they were coming out to make sure he was okay and there was a lot of questions about should you be coming in to just get a handle on the nausea but he wouldn't at that time he just didn't want to go to the hospice he was very against it wanted to be at home with the kids and whenever he could in between bouts of feeling sick he would be down there and he'd try and watch a little bit of TV with them or something and then he'd have to go back to bed for a while afterwards

Incredible strength of mind, really, to keep going with that.

And the poor fella couldn't eat anything.

Awful.

It just was dire.
