It felt like a different phase.

And this was our last ditch attempt.

So James had been so keen to go to Dublin to try this because nothing was happening in Galway anymore.

This was the last hope.

So for that to not work out for him was really, really hard.

And when the stent was put in, that was, you know, it helped.

He slowly got a bit less yellow over time, but they could see that he was passing blood and things.

So they said, look, you're actually at risk of a huge bleed here.

And not to be too graphic, but what would have happened is it could have come up the way.

And if that had happened, they told me that there wasn't really much that they could do apart from keep him calm.

They would give him something instantly to calm him.

And that if it had happened that way, that he would have just passed away quickly.

So that was extremely frightening to hear.

And by this time, I'm sleeping in the hospital room with him because he was in so much pain at night that he needed me to help him sit up to do anything really, sips of water.

So the doctor said, if you want to see the kids, I think maybe you should get the kids up.

We always asked her what she would do.

And she said, if it was my kids, I'd get them up here today.

So I had to ring home and say, look, things are pretty dire.

Can you bring the kids up?

So my family drove up.
