So undervalued, the hospice and what it does like.

I can't even describe everything that they've done for us and are still doing actually for us, which is lovely.

I noticed when we got there that he was wrapped in blankets and it just looked so homely compared to, it wasn't those crappy little hospital ones.

He looked like he would be at home.

He was so minded.

It was really lovely to see.

And they looked after him so well with his pain meds and stuff.

He had a lot of pain that night and it seemed very scary and his breathing was kind of different.

And I was saying to them, look, what's happening here?

Do you think he's dying?

And the nurse said, you know what, he could be.

So I again called his sister home.

She had gone back to get her family in France and I called her home again thinking this could be it now.

This was on the very first night in the hospice.

But the next day he kind of rallied a little bit.

It seemed like it was probably the huge amount of drugs that he'd had that had sent him quite deep under.
