We got to go home and, you know, sleep in our own bed.

They provide us with everything that he needed.

We both felt quite strangely institutionalised in a way.

The first night he came home, he had kind of gotten sick again.

He'd gotten an infection.

So that was a bit scary.

And at this time he was having liquid nutrition, which is called TPN.

And I was trained how to give that to him.

So when we were at home, I was giving that to him.

Yeah.

And in the hospice, they were doing all that stuff for him.

It was great to get home, but we felt so conflicted.

Yeah.
