The point being, Aubrey, is that I'm not arguing that the Ten Commandments were written under the influence of ayahuasca, but they could have been.
And that's what makes this endlessly fascinating.
Many academics, they look at something, they have their own theory, and they say, that's the way it was.
I don't.
Do I think human cognition was created by coffee berries?
I do.
and in part by the magic mushrooms, and in part by the alcohol and the fermented fruits, and in part by the invention of fire, and in part by the invention of language.
So tying all of these threads together, ethnobotanists tend to be pretty good at because we are interdisciplinary by nature.
