And then the kids are just not resilient enough.

And he'll work it out.
You know, he'll have to work it out because he's got to learn how to survive out there in the world.
So I've stopped doing that now.
And he makes his own way home.
And it is quite hairy.
I'll admit now I lose a lot of sleep waiting for the key in the door.
But he has gotten better with, you know, making sure he gets the train and, you know, maybe he gets an Uber.
But he's, you know, he has taken more kind of like responsibility for himself.
And the other parents here, they couldn't believe I was driving out to pick up a 17 year old.
after a disco at 1.30, you know, they were like, what are you doing?
Like, he's an adult.
So, yeah, I think you can, if you throw them in, they have to find a way, you know.
I mean, you can go a bit too extreme, but, I mean, as with everything, it's all balance, Clare, right?
Like, it is hard to get it right.
