I'd say about four or five years ago.
Gosh, so Andrew's put up with a lot.
I mean, it's not suicidal, but...
But it's, because I always, but the thing is, you tend to know that you will get through it.
And to ignore your brain, because your brain is telling, your depression is telling you that you won't get through it.
The best way of coping is to actually fundamentally know this too will pass.
It's that old thing, isn't it?
But to actually feel that, it needs to be more than words.
You must have sort of lived that.
That's why I feel like there needs to be a lot of education around people when they first become, especially young people who don't have that sense of life sort of peaks and troughs yet.
that first experience of depression is so dangerous because you don't think.
And depression is very keen to tell you that you won't get out of it and all of this.
So that is when it feels like a prison.
And also with time, you learn things that are good for you and learn things that make you feel better.
Sometimes it's physical stuff like running or, you know, what you eat and how you eat and whether coffee's good or bad or, you know...
different things that work for you and Your sleep and everything else so you have to become a bit boring and just know know yourself But you sort of your own your you are your own laboratory and you're always tweaking your own mental health And clearly the writing had helped you the first time the first novel and well done with that and
