I think I heard Robert Greene once use the phrase, nobody ever does something once.
If someone did something, assume it's a pattern, or that they've done it in the past many times.
Now, I think that's really great survival advice.
If I was handing out survival advice for life and human behavior, I would say that's a really, really important lesson.
I also have to temper that logic with a bit of humanity and compassion for ourselves.
which is that probably everyone in this room has done something in the past that they regret and wouldn't do again, and learned from, and wished they hadn't done.
And that informed your life.
It changed your life in some way.
