Um and then I got sick.
Which I hate being that lifter that says, Oh I got sick, that's why I didn't perform.
I mean I think you can hear it.
Like I've had a fever all week.
I lay in bed all day yesterday.
Um
Yeah, but uh today I was lying on the floor on the tiles 'cause I was so hot, still so feverish, uh so woozy.
But you know what, I pulled it together and my coach who's like my partner as well, he was like, You know what, Megan, you train to be so frickin' strong that you don't have to be your strongest to win.
Just do it.
Just push through it.
We'll get to that.
I underperformed, but I I ticked the biggest box.
So yeah.
Why was it?
Um, I actually thought plun would total four eighty, which is you know, like it's two and a half kilos off what the world record was before today.
So I didn't really want to post my top lifts, um, for tactical reasons.
But then also it is a pressure thing.
I definitely need to work on that a little bit more and
be able to manage that pressure, you know, I can sh I should be able to showcase my top end and be like, yeah, I'm gonna back it up.
Because I've never not backed it up on comp day anyway, so I should just be able to post and be okay with it.
